In the Current
This view of Lac Prudhomme was taken from the Yellowhead Highway #16 bridge that crosses Diana Creek at the point where it enters the lake. It rained when I was capturing the scene of a pond (see the Rainy Forest Pond image) a short distance west, also while I was photographing in a swampy area across the highway from where this image was captured. Fortunately, the rain let up just long enough for me to take a few images of this scene. I was fascinated by the foliage caught in the current and the pattern in the flow caused by it, and viewers of the image have concurred that it adds to the beauty of the scene. The location is between Terrace and Prince Rupert in beautiful northwestern British Columbia, Canada.
